From coast to coast, Kate
Brindle has been making people laugh everywhere she goes. Described as
“original,” “hilarious” and a “very poised comedian with a bright future ahead
of her,” Kate is a unique breath of fresh air on the comedy scene.
Originally
from Dexter, Michigan (Population 72), Kate moved to New York City at 18 to
study acting at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. While there,
Kate wrote, directed and acted in several theatrical productions and worked in
production for ABC News Radio and the Sally Jessy Raphael Show (meaning she
spent A LOT of time dealing with crazy people…Lucky for her, growing up with
her family meant that she had 18 years of previous experience doing just that.).
Upon
graduating with a BFA, Kate began her stand up comedy career. Since then she's
been entertaining audiences at clubs across the nation with her original, smart
and sassy brand of humor. The winner of several comedy competitions and an audience
favorite, Kate brings to the stage her quick
wit, impeccable timing and a stage presence that's well beyond her years.
Whether she's talking about her family, boring jobs (She's had several.) or
making quirky observations of everyday life, Kate continues to charm crowds
with her sarcastic yet upbeat and spunky style of comedy.
Kate has been seen performing stand up on the Canadian Broadcast Channel and
she’s opened for Kevin Nealon, Kevin Pollak, Thea Vidale and Dave Attell.
She is
currently performing her stand up act on stages across the United States. Catch
this rising star while you can!
